This summer's event season sees the welcome return of a real favourite – the ever-popular Deepings Raft Race.
After a 2-year hiatus the Deepings Raft Race takes to the water again on Sunday August 7 and the theme this year is – Back to the 80’s.
This one is always such good fun for all the family and a real summer highlight including a free family fun day with a funfair and a huge variety of stalls stretching from Bridge Street Deeping St James through to the Town Centre in Market Deeping.
There's plenty of live music to look forward to as well throughout the day and evening so you can keep the party going at various local pubs.
The main attraction of course though is around 40 rafts decorated to match the year’s theme racing up the river with most of the crew and many spectators in fancy dress. It’s a great day out and raises thousands for good causes.
