The big rainbow celebration of our LGBTQA+ community is back with a day of fun on the Embankment and the ever popular Pride Parade on Saturday July 18.
The parade leaves at 1pm from Stanley Park with pick up points along the way by the Cathedral and Sue Ryder on Bridge Street. Everyone’s welcome.

Teddi the Pride organiser told us – “This year’s Peterborough Pride promises to be bigger, brighter, and even more special. We’re thrilled to be welcoming icons new and old to join us for Pride on the Embankment, alongside an incredible showcase of local talent.
“Expect a wonderful array of vendors, a diverse selection of charities, and plenty of opportunities to connect, celebrate, and feel proud of who you are."

“Peterborough is a diverse and vibrant city, home to many cultures, identities, and backgrounds. Pride is important because it provides a space where all of that diversity can be respected, embraced, and celebrated. Acceptance belongs at the heart of our city.”
Peterborough Pride is open to everyone. Whether you’re part of the LGBTQ+ community or a supportive ally, you’re invited to head along and celebrate.

Teddi adds – “I’m most looking forward to celebrating our 5th birthday in style — reflecting on how far we’ve come, honouring our community, and creating unforgettable memories together.”
Make sure you stop by Peterborough Museum to see the exhibition THIS IS OUR PRIDE! to see where it all started but be quick as it ends July 18.
