OPEN-AIR CINEMA RETURNS TO PETERBOROUGH TO KICK OFF THE BANK HOLIDAY

It’s been the first week you could finally settle down in front of the big screen again indoors – but there’s a special outdoor treat heading our way as the drive-in returns to Peterborough.

The hugely popular musical The Greatest Showman will be on the outdoor screen at the East of England Arena and Events Centre to get the bank holiday weekend started in rousing style.

Get ready to pull up at the drive-in and belt out all your favourites on Friday May 28 as cinema under the stars returns with a sing-a-long screening of The Greatest Showman the epic musical tale of P.T. Barnum – the larger than life American showman, hoaxer and founder of The Barnum & Bailey Circus, ‘The Greatest Show on Earth’ which ran from 1871 to 2017.

This popular event has been a feature of East of England Arena’s summer season for 8 years, but last year’s event was cancelled due to the pandemic.

With hot food available on-site and a well-stocked bar, plus the option to take a (non-alcoholic) picnic this should be a great evening out for fans of film and show tunes.

Tickets for the open-air cinema are available now from Adventure Cinema’s website and start at £9.50 for under-16s and are £14.50 for a standard ticket. VIP tickets, which entitle you to a luxury deckchair in the perfect viewing position, are £20.50. Booking fees apply for all tickets.
