NURUN – YOU’RE FIRED!

Peterborough’s candidate on The Apprentice has crashed out of the BBC show.

Nurun Ahmed who works in marketing at Peterborough City Council and runs the Scarfs Inc stall on the City Market,  beat thousands of applicants to take part in the series to try and  win a £250,000 investment on a business with Sir Alan Sugar.

In week three of the show she was sadly given the “You’re fired” ultimatum by Sir Alan after her team lost out in a task to manufacture, brand and sell luxury fragranced candles.

Despite being sent home from the show Nurun performed well on the You’re Fired sister show with Dara O’Briain on BBC 2 afterwards and came across well mentioning Peterborough as much as she could – well done gal!

Nurun was given great endorsement from successful fragrance entrepreneur Jo Malone who said she would work with Nurun any day and thought mouthy James Hill should’ve been fired instead.

We’ve been following Nurun’s story all the way through – read our indepth interview in the November issue of ESP out from Wednesday October 29.
