One of our favourite outdoor events is back in Peterborough this September and we can’t wait!
If you’re a fan of all things motorcycling then don’t miss the return of the Devitt MCN Festival of Motorcycling at the East of England Arena this September 4-5.
There’s a huge line-up of entertainment, bike bargains to buy, live music, test rides, live-action and so much more. It’s the best bike show the UK has to offer and it’s fantastic to have it on our doorstep.
The madcap endurance race, Moped Mayhem, that was the highlight of the old BMF shows in the 1980s and 90s is making its long-awaited comeback at the Festival on the Sunday afternoon.
Known for its wild racing, huge grid, eclectic machines and raucous paddock atmosphere, it doesn’t get more grassroots than this!
The Dirt Track Riders Association will be holding a packed round of proper racing at the Festival. One of the most exciting (and coolest) race series in the UK, races include everything from junior (7-11 year olds), the dramatic Hooligan class and, new for this year, a race for electric bikes.
The entertainment is hotter than ever with the thrilling Extreme Bike battle stunt show – from inch perfect trials and BMX tricks to the incredible aerial displays of the FMX riders, the Extreme Bike Battle is a demonstration of supreme bike control.
The supremely talented Two Brothers and JD Stunts will also be thrilling the crowds in the stunt zone with their high speed shows packed with world-class adrenaline-fuelled riding skills.
Yamaha’s beloved RD LC was forty years old in 2020 and they’re creating an extra special belated birthday party at the Festival with a two-stroke display, fire ups and stage talks.
If you fancy some new wheels then book in for a test ride as this is the only place in the UK where you can ride the latest 2021 bikes from all the major manufacturers all in the same place.
There are hundreds of test ride slots all up for grabs from cruisers to sportsbikes to learner-friendly machines. No pre-booking is necessary, just bring your lid and licence and sign up on the day.
Of course this is also the event to head to if you want to get some new gear. Plus the autojumble is back for this year with all those spares and parts you need for your latest bike project.
Why not camp for the weekend? Campers get early entry into the Festival plus access to the evening entertainment – sponsored by Indian Motorcycle.
Parking is free all weekend for cars and motorcycles plus kids under 15 go free so bring the family for a great day out!
Save £££s by booking discounted tickets online in advance. For the very latest information check out the festival website: www.mcnfestival.com and we’ll see you there!
