There’s more good news for the dining out scene in Peterborough as the new Tap & Tandoor gastro pub opens in Queensgate shopping centre next month.
Having just celebrated their first successful year in Solihull, the award winning independent Indian gastro pub, is now bringing its new concept to Peterborough with an 80 cover outlet in the city which will be only its second in the UK.
A representative from Tap & Tandoor said – “We are looking forward to joining an already thriving food scene in Peterborough. The city sees the growing importance and value of independents. We can’t wait to welcome our guests and provide them with a new experience.”
Tap & Tandoor will take over the former Carluccio’s restaurant which is being completely refurbished with the design mixing the comfort and warmth of a traditional British pub with a touch of Indian heritage.
You can expect a casual dining experience and they specialise in craft beer, cocktails and Indian food including small plates, home-style curries such as Butter Chicken and their popular mixed grill which is a selection of prime cut meats cooked over charcoal. A vegetarian and vegan mixed grill platter is also available.
Tap & Tandoor will open mid-end July and will operate from 12pm – 12am seven days a week with food being served all day.
