We’ve been following the progress of the area’s new farm shop, Harvest Barn, which is proving a great place to pick up fresh produce as well as stopping off for a cuppa and cake in their café.
Their café has launched a new autumn menu, with a new range of hot drinks including S’mores hot chocolate & a pumpkin spice latte, as well as a range of freshly made milkshakes. You can grab a bite to eat with delicious handmade cakes and traybakes, warming jacket potatoes and soups or a tasty sandwich, toastie or panini made fresh to order.
As the seasons change so do they and the team are excited to launch their new autumn range both in the farm shop and the coffee shop. They have a huge range of seasonal vegetables and fruit available this autumn, all grown at Harvest Barn including seasonal squash, beetroot, blackberries, apples from their own orchards, chard, kale and so much more.
They’re now selling their new season apple juice fresh from the orchards.
Harvest Barn’s new deli counter is well stocked with a range of local and popular cheeses, a great mix of olives and antipasti, cured meats and bacon, including the brilliant Suffolk Salami and freshly made sausage rolls, pork pies and scotch eggs.
In their bid to make this a destination you can eat at as well as buy some of your weekly food shopping they’re also keen to make it a family friendly venue.
They’ve now launched their new Muddy Boots Farmyard animal walks and the play area is now open. You can take a walk around and meet all their friendly animals – ideal for a Half Term day out
