NEW FILM FROM ESP COLUMNIST JUGGY REFLECTS ON RACISM

Our columnist Juggy is usually out and about getting your views but since lockdown he’s discovered a new passion and turned his attention to film making…

After the tragic events of George Floyd’s death in America and the Black Lives Matter movement, Juggy reflected on his own experiences of racism.

He wrote and made his first short film, Colour Me Brown, in the space of just two weeks as he was keen to tell his story at a time when the world was reflecting on the issues and there actually was a platform to talk about the topic of race.

Juggy’s short film Colour Me Brown is seen through the eyes and imagination of a British Asian man talking about the effects race has had on his mental health.

It stars doctor and acclaimed actress Parvinder Shergill, who’s appeared on Channel 4 and BBC, in the role of the therapist.

Take a look at the film here…
