Once again you can enjoy a meal and a drink with friends or family by the river as The Chalkboard Tea Room and Bistro takes over the Key Theatre’s restaurant from July 30.
They’ll be serving a range of afternoon teas, breakfasts, vegan options and their signature ‘Chalkboard’ charcuterie platters in the restaurant which overlooks the River nene on the ground floor of the Key Theatre.
Pop in for breakfast ans start your day off with a traditional full English or if you’re looking for something lighter The Chalkboard has a whole variety of options including breakfast rolls, pancakes, porridge, cereals and more, all starting from as little as £2.
Everybody loves an Afternoon Tea and it’s such a perfect location we think this sounds wonderful. You can have sweet or savoury and each individual slate includes sandwiches, falafels, scones, macaroons and more. Pick and mix to your own preference for just £20.
The Chalkboard signature platters sound delcious too. You can choose from British, Italian, Spanish, Vegan or Vegetarian options. Alongside the main ‘meat’ of the meal, all Chalkboards come with a selection of olives, feta stuffed peppers, selection of warm breads, sundried tomatoes, bread sticks, extra virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar and honey. Perfect for one hungry person or for two to nibble on for just £15 (or £7 for children).
