House ‘Music on the Terrace’ is back at the Solstice, SolGarden!
Following on from the success of the first event the guys return on Friday August 30 with more offerings of house music than before. On the night they have two guest DJs playing alongside the MUSIC ON THE TERRACE crew and even better it’s FREE ENTRY!

House mad Matt has been DJ-ing on the circuit for over eight years, in that time he’s run his own night called Awakening bringing into the mix house heavyweights such as Brandon Block and Jon Da Silva who headlined the nights.
With gigs at the icon Pacha club in London, Gigalum, Brixton Club House and various local nights Matt has played to masses with his flavour of Deep and Tech House. DARREN JAMES
Born and bred in house this man has clocked serious air-miles and played alongside the DJ greats such as Mark Knight, David Guetta, Judge Jules, Steve Angello, Sebastian Ingrosso, Chocolate Puma, Todd Terry, Sandy Rivera, Seamus Haji and legends like Jeremy Healy and played at some of the most iconic names in club land to name a few – Ministry Of Sound, Pacha, Hed Kandi, Wonderland, Miss Moneypennys and Defected
Also a radio DJ Darren hosts his show every Thursday on Peterborough FM playing his fill of house and has also worked on the Radio 1 award winning CUR1350 radio station cohosting the station’s most successful show (formerly Ministry of Sound) Digital Rhythm.
Not just a DJ but also a promoter Darren has set up themed nights bringing live acts to his nights with great success leaving every event with a good atmosphere.
With gigs in Ibiza this man is really busy on the decks of the most iconic clubs on the isle SPACE, AMNESIA, BORA BORA and ES PARADIS, even on his home turf he’s landed guest spots in London clubs such as White House and The EGG. This man is truly on the top of his game and the future is set to get better for him.

CHRIS YOUNG
Having a passion for house since he was at school, buying various CDs mixed by the likes of Carl Cox, Sasha & Digweed, Fatboy Slim, Paul Oakenfold, Roger Sanchez and listening to Radios 1’s Essential Selection, Chris’ passion for DJ-ing developed back in early summer 2000 when he bought his first set of decks. Chris has praised the decks of Café En Seine, Funktional, Harry’s Bar, Bacarra, Attica, Bar Mist and recently the SolGarden, Solstice. Playing his varied style of house music that in his own words is described as ‘The musical journey’.
IVAN BEST
No stranger to house music Ivan’s always had a passion for house and a year ago finally decided to get himself some decks and live the dream of being a DJ, already making an impact on the scene winning BPM’s ‘DJ of the Week’ twice in a row, winning over the judges with his funked up deep and tech taste of house this man is an animal behind the decks drawing influences from the likes of UMEk and house legend Roger Sanchez.
JASON SWIFT
A man who needs no introduction, he treats every set like a masterpiece with his style of funk to tech to deep and dirty house drawing in the crowds and giving them a good old night to remember, Jason aka Mr. Finch has played alongside some local legends in his seven years as a DJ. Praising the decks of some of Peterborough’s popular clubs, Bacarra, JD’s Bar, Attica and more recently the SolGarden, Solstice.
ROSCO GREENWOOD aka Koncorse
DJ and producer Rosco has plays of his tunes under the Alias of Koncorse on BBC Radio 1 and has regular interviews with BBC Radio Cambridgeshire from his productions. Originally a Drum & Bass DJ, Rosco found his calling to house over a year ago and decided to get on the cdj’s and practice with a sound that is almost alien, drawing on inspiration from the likes of Hot 22, Armand Van Helden and many other old school house artists, he developed into playing the funkier side of house with gospel lyrics and piano synths journeying through to deeper edge of US house.
