Brotherhood Shopping Park will be hosting a unique event on Easter Saturday April 19. As part of National Pet Month, the Centre will be bringing a farm yard feel to proceedings but this one is especially for children.
‘Off The Farm’ has a whole army of micro farm animals including a gaggle of geese, lambs, rabbits, pigs, ducklings and chickens all completely self contained in a pen. Owner Jackie Wynne who is a well known expert on farming with animals, is offering herself to be cross-examined by local children in a no holds barred type of Animal Question Time.
Jackie is quite prepared to put her reputation on the line and answer anything the children ask. She commented: “Children are great – they ask all the questions we adults are afraid to ask. It’s usually something like don’t the pigs eat the chickens; or what happens to the pigs when they are fully grown? I will assure the children that there are no questions off limits. I am happy to tackle anything they throw at me.”
If any children would like to take part in this form of Question Time, they just need to register their names with mike.mcgann@frogboxmarketing.com
The micro farm animals will be at the Centre from 11am to 3pm and Question Time will take place from 12 noon to 1pm.
