LIDO BIG BIRTHDAY WEEKENDER


It’s the Big Birthday Weekender as Peterborough Lido celebrates 90 years!


Saturday May 30 kicks off with a fun family gala from 9am - 12pm with the City of Peterborough Swimming Club and special guests.


Then from 1pm - 8.30pm it's the big pool party can swim to the sound of some of Peterborough’s best bands Dusk Till Dawn, The Contacts, Groove Cartell and the Palmy Ukulele Band. Vibe in the pool, dance on the grass or chill on the terraces – it’ll be an amazing way to spend the afternoon at this iconic venue.



There's so much more on Sunday May 31 too – start the day with a chilled out session

from 7 – 9am with music from Steve Bean. Relax and enjoy the tunes or take a dip.


Then from 9am - 6pm you can swim, cool off and relax all day with more fabulous live music all afternoon from the U3A Ukulele band, singer Gabriella Pineda-Rodrigues and the GB Home Guard Band.



There’ll be lots of family fun and fancy dress to enjoy as everyone celebrates this incredible 90 year anniversary.  Tickets are limited.
