LAWYERS GET SOME COMIC RELIEF

From Louis Smith to Flamenco Dancing – Local Law Firm raise over £700 for charity!

Congrats to Directors and Staff at Hunt & Coombs Solicitors who were among loads of local people who did something funny for money and turned Red Nose Day 2013 into a week long fundraising frenzy.

A calendar of events was put into place by their Legal Secretary Hellen Tansley, from learning to Flamenco dance, to a ‘Hunt & Coombs Bake Off’. Judging the bake off was their very own Mary Berry & Paul Hollywood in the form of Directors David Heming and Henry Anstey, who sampled such delights from savoury bakes to intricately decorated cupcakes.

Generous donations were also received in the form of signed posters and clothing by Peterborough’s very own Louis Smith and Aston Merrygold! These were entered into a silent auction and the lucky winners were announced at the end of the week.

Once the sweepstakes and cake sales had died down, Hunt & Coombs were extremely proud to have raised over £700!

Managing Director Lynne Ayres commented – “This is an amazing amount of money for Comic Relief of which staff should be extremely proud.”

Well done guys!
