LAS IGUANAS OPENS IN PETERBOROUGH

The sizzling tastes of Latin America are now tempting shoppers with the Peterborough Las Iguanas restaurant now open (November 14).

The popular restaurant and cocktail bar can be found on Church Street in the former Bill’s building, just in time for people planning Christmas parties and festive get-togethers.

Visitors are greeted with Las Iguanas’ signature tropical green plant walls. Vibrant flashes of neon, twinkling lights and murals inspired by Mexican and Brazilian landscapes complete the décor.

Offerings include the chain’s famous bottomless brunch, where you can get two hours of unlimited cocktails, beer and prosecco – available seven days a week.

From Sunday to Thursday, before 7pm, and after 10pm on Friday and Saturday, it’s Happy Days with two for one cocktails during Happy Hour.

Celebrating the authentic flavours of Latin America, guests will be able to sample an array of Iguanas favourites to the sound of cool Latin beats.

Soak up delicious Latino classic cuisine such as the taco sharing boards and Fundido Fondue (a pot of oozy chilli cheese sauce with crispy cassava chunks for dipping), fabulous fajitas, north Brazilian curry and plenty more to tickle your tastebuds.

Andrew Taylor, General Manager at the new Las Iguanas, said: “It’s great to be introducing our iconic flavours of Latin America to the city. We have a fantastic team in place and are delighted that we have been able to create over 30 new jobs.

“We’ve just opened bookings for Christmas and have lots of ways for you to party, from a set Christmas menu to late Bottomless Brunches, so do get in touch if you are looking for the hottest Christmas ticket in Peterborough!”

An outdoor terrace provides more seating and the perfect spot to make the most of any autumn sunshine under the watchful gaze of the Antony Gormley figures above you, part of the ‘Places to Be’ rooftop installation.

Online bookings including Christmas parties are now open at www.iguanas.co.uk/restaurants/peterborough/book-now
