Peterborough Indie-pop originals band Iodolising Nova have just released the first track from their debut EP and have announced some exciting festival gigs.
ESP caught up with Jack Fulton from the band who told us they’re very excited about new track Run Away.
“It’s the first track from our debut EP, Fake Scenes and Plastic Smiles, and we really have put our all into this and we’ve created three tracks that we’re really proud of.
“We’ve worked with some great producers on this track who have also worked with Rudimental, Clean Bandit, Charli XCX and some other big names, so the production is sounding really good.”
The three-piece are gearing up for a busy few months of gigs and have now announced they’ll be playing 110 Above festival in Leicestershire, La French Escapade in Paris and the Hit the North Festival in Newcastle with more to come.
It’s been great to see the band getting some strong support for their new track from the likes of Janice Long on BBC Radio Wales and Tom Simkins at BBC Introducing Cambridgeshire as well.
Tom Simkins, BBC Introducing Cambridgeshire said – “Since we first heard them in 2016 we’ve heard Idolising Nova become a super tight band with a great ability to write fantastic, catchy tracks that have a habit of getting stuck in the back of your head.
“This track takes the band’s already polished sound and with a few refinements takes it to another level, leaving us with a fantastic indie pop track which wouldn’t sound out of place on national radio alongside some of the heavy hitters in the music world.”
Run Away is out now on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music and all the other major online stores.
We’ll keep you posted on their progress but make sure you follow Idolising Nova’s Facebook page for the latest on which festivals they’re playing this year.
