The greatest show in Peterborough has returned as the Peterborough Phantoms Ice Hockey Club kick off their NIHL National League campaign.
After a silverware laden season last term, the Phantoms are going in search of more trophies in what promises to be the most exciting league campaign in recent memory.
Slava Koulikov’s team won three trophies last year in an action-packed and fun filled season at Planet Ice, Peterborough. They began by winning the Autumn Cup against the Sheffield Steeldogs, before beating the Basingstoke Bison in the South Cup to win their second trophy of the year. Trophy number three was won at the expense of the Bracknell Bees, as the Phantoms cruised to victory in the NIHL South Playoffs.
Phantoms currently compete in the second division of British Ice Hockey. And this year, the league format has changed to bring more of the best teams from around the country together into one league, guaranteeing exciting matches and action-packed weekends on a regular basis!
Whether you go along and watch with your mates or take the family, the Phantoms has something for everyone, making it one of the best nights out in town for people of all ages!
