Domus launch is bringing back the house!

Up and coming house DJ Zoe Roberts is showcasing her DJing skills and launching a new house night at Halo in Peterborough.

House music is seeing a revival and Peterborough is no stranger to the scene. Back in 1990s Broadway was full of bars beating out melodic sounds and Zoe is excited to see house music making a comeback to Peterborough.

She says – “I started DJing a year ago and launched Dirty Housewives in Stamford. This has been a huge success and has inspired my next venture, Domus at Halo.”

Zoe continues – “To me, it’s all about the music and bringing something new and fresh to Peterborough. I want people to enjoy themselves, listen to good music and at the same time showcase up and coming DJs.”

Domus will be a collaboration of deep house and tech house sounds and who better to headline the night than house legend Dale Howard.

Dale says – “There’s definitely been a surge in the number of new ‘underground’ house nights recently, so it’s good to see so many people are getting into real house music as opposed to the commercial stuff that people think is house music. I’m also really excited to be on board for the launch of Domus. ”

Also playing on the night are M Matherson, David Dews and brothers Andy and Ian McArthur.

Domus is launching on Friday March 8and thereafter is held on the second Friday of each month.

Prices are £7 on the door and you can also get tickets from Halo.
