Peterborough’s High Rollaz have lined up another fantastic drum n bass night to get your Easter break off to a great start on Good Friday.

Embe Soul Food Restaurant on Cowgate is the venue to be at for some great tunes including deep soulful vocal liquid funk, jungle and drum n bass at the Soul Food event on on Friday April 7 from 10pm-3am.

There’ll be an exclusive intimate session with one of the founders of the drum n bass scene, their very special guest, legendary DJ Nookie from Metalheadz / Binary State. He’s a pioneer with more than 30 years on the scene and his releases include a remix of the seminal record ‘Inner City Life’ by Goldie.

Alongside DJ Nookie will be worldwide compere MC Five Alive – a good friend and resident of The High Rollaz camp for many years whose unique style has seen him host all the big raves including Warning, Moondance, Telepathy and join tours with the Stereo, Altern8 and many more!

You can also expect The High Rollaz family on the line-up with Sincere (founder of High Rollaz, DJ and radio broadcaster with his weekly High Rollaz DnB show Saturdays at 6pm on Future Sounds Radio).

Rayan Gee (from local legendary rave band Shades of Rhythm), West (CEO of Default Records - one of the most exciting drum n bass labels and weekly show on the mighty Bassdrive Radio) will be there along with Instant B2B Tredda (from Strictly Soulful one of Peterborough’s biggest D’n’B brands and events).

There’ll be a booming sound system over two floors and two bars with areas to dance and chill.

The amazing Embe soul food kitchen will be open all night for your delight including a special High Rollaz Street Food Box (meat or vegan) and they’ll be collecting for local charity Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall Hospice on the night too.

Don’t miss the party! Tickets are available on Skiddle:
