Get ready for a jam-packed October half-term at Ferry Meadows!
Full of autumnal activities, wildlife workshops and family fun - there's something for everyone to enjoy from October 25 to November 2.

There’s the Oak Adventurers Holiday Club, an exciting multi-activity holiday club open October 27 - 31 at Nene Outdoors, perfect for kids aged 8-13. Action-packed fun awaits!
Hire a bike at Nene Outdoors and explore the Park! Available daily from 10.30am to 5pm, choose from a range of styles and sizes, including e-bikes, plus helmets come free with every hire.
There are daily boat trips when you can enjoy a lake and river cruise on our electrically-powered passenger boat and see what wildlife you can spot or take a ride on the miniature railway.

Complete the Holiday Trails this half-term with two spooky adventures to enjoy. Take on the Bat Cipher Trail at Ferry Meadows or the Halloween Trail at Thorpe Meadows, or why not challenge yourself to do both?
Pick up a trail sheet for just £1 from the Visitor Centre or Thorpe Meadows Café, then set off to explore the Parks as you search for questions. Once you’ve cracked the trail, return to claim your prize.

There are also FREE Halloween Crafts to enjoy at the Visitor Centre to decorate a wand from the mystical wood of the Elder tree ready for your Halloween adventures.
Aside from the regular daily activities there are a range of other great activities on selected dates like the FREE Speedring Pump Track from October 26 – 28. With bike-friendly mounds and banked turns, it’s a fun way for all ages and abilities to ride, play and practice their skills.
Sessions run three times a day at 10am, 11.40am and 1.20pm, each lasting 90 minutes. Suitable for ages 3 and up, the track is free to use, with all equipment provided or the option to bring your own bike.
