Get ready for a jam-packed October half term at Ferry Meadows! Full of autumnal activities, wildlife workshops and family fun - there's something for everyone to enjoy from October 26 to November 3.
There are week-long activities including 50% off Watersports at Nene Outdoors open daily between 11am and 5pm, choose from dragon and swan pedalos, row boats, stand up paddle boards, kayaks and canoes.
Learn all about the fascinating world of fungi in the latest holiday trail! Collect a trail sheet from the Visitor Centre for just £1, then hunt for fungi-themed questions as you explore Ferry Meadows. Return to the Visitor Centre to claim your prize to grow at home!
Head over to the pop-up Fun Park, a fun zone featuring fairground attractions and inflatables or try one of the daily electric boat trips which travel down the Nene.
There are also a huge range of Wildlife Workshops & Family Events on different days throughout the week including crafts, archery, ranger walks looking for animals, family gardening and climbing. Just book online.
Alternatively, how about a visit to Longthorpe Tower, Peterborough's hidden historical gem? Be amazed at the Medieval wall paintings there, widely considered to be the best in a domestic setting in western Europe! Book your weekend tickets to enjoy an hour-tour with their knowledgeable volunteers or go along on Saturday November 2 for a special 15th Century Christmas Living History event!
