Festival season is here and the village of Langtoft near Peterborough is has it’s very own event this weekend on its beautiful Sports Pavilion Field… and you’re invited!
The vibrant festival stretches across Friday July 12 at 7pm (evening event) and Saturday July 13 (main event). Kick start your weekend with a bang on the Friday, with the hilariously brilliant ‘Between You and Me’ – brought to you by fantastic poet, broadcaster and comedian Ian McMillan and Olympic composer Luke Carver Goss!
This event brings you a cool mixture of poetry, original music, songs, stories and the most spontaneous music you have ever had the pleasure of seeing… all woven together by the double act’s unbeatable comedy, perfectly setting you up for what Saturday brings!
Grab your sun cream, put on your sun hat and slip on those sunglasses this sunny Friday evening and watch the sun go down with Ian McMillan and Luke Carver Goss (pictured) as they’re sure to leave you belly laughing.
Familiar face Ian McMillan is better known for his weekly hit radio show The Verb, with thousands of eager listeners tuning in every week to hear his popular poetry. He’s Poet-in-Residence for Barnsley Fc, he’s a regular on BBC Breakfast, Pointless Celebrities, and he’s coming to a village right on your doorstep! And if that wasn’t enough, acclaimed Carver Trio performer Luke Carver Goss is here too. An experienced and unmissable performer, you can see him this Friday at the Langtoft Festival, would you really want to miss this?
Recognised as ‘composers who create big worlds of sound… British music at its most ingenious’ by The Guardian, and ‘a non-stop high energy flow of humour, music and poetry’, these 4 star Friday night funny guys are sure to leave you in hysterics with their humour, charm and pure talent!
