This year’s fun packed summer fiesta is underway with more pedal powered cycle cinema showings and big finale still to come…

Cllr Nigel North, Peterborough City Council’s cabinet member for communities and environment capital, said: “The Travelchoice team always put a great deal of time and effort into organising a fun, varied calendar of activities during the summer showcase event. All of which are free to attend.
“This year looks like no exception and there will be something for everyone to enjoy over the fortnight, whether it’s watching The Lion King under the shade of Central Park’s trees, listening to live music, or trying out a range of different bikes in Ferry Meadows.
“While there is an emphasis on having fun, the Travelchoice team will share the message of the importance of reducing the need to travel by car and using sustainable transport. As well as being a more convenient, enjoyable, healthy and economical way to live, it matches our aspirations in creating the UK’s Environment Capital.”
