ESP’S TOP TIPS TO TREAT DAD ON FATHER’S DAY

ESP’s Health and Beauty writer Emily Rawlinson turns her attentions to Father’s Day and how we can treat dad during lockdown…

Father’s Day is coming up on Sunday June 21 and due to the lockdown in the UK it may be more difficult to find the perfect gift. However, I have found some amazing deals and gifts online which can be delivered straight to your dad.

Aftershave – with Father’s Day on the horizon, there are some amazing deals to be found at Boots and Superdrug for men’s aftershave. I personally like gifting aftershave as I know it’s something my dad always uses and is something that he wouldn’t treat himself too often, however I always stick with what I know he likes. Superdrug also have a third off all of the new ‘King C. Gillette’ shaving range which comes in stylish packaging so you could put together a hamper with a few of these products.

Personalised Cards – as mentioned previously, personalised cards are a great idea especially right now and brands such a Moonpig, funkypigeon and the Card Factory have released Father’s Day card options. It also means that you can write your message inside the card when personalising it and have it sent straight to him.

Not On The High Street – I love this website as the products sold on here are usually from small, independent businesses which it’s always great to support and there’s such a variety of gifts, gift wrap, cards etc to choose from for all occasions. For Father’s Day, some of my favourite gift ideas were the ‘Monthly Sock Subscription’, the ‘Personalised Stainless Steel Photo Print’ which I have bought and gifted to someone before and finally the Letterbox Gifts range.

Technology – now this may not be for everyone but at the moment Amazon have just put an offer on all of their Alexa devices. I personally have an Echo Dot which I use everyday as a speaker, an alarm/timer, to check the weather or listen to the news/radio. They are currently on offer for £29.99 from £49.99 so are a steal at the moment.

Don’t forget that you can also host a virtual quiz or bingo in celebration too!
