This summer's event season is hotting up as we welcome the return of loads of our local events – including the ever-popular Deepings Raft Race.
After a 2-year hiatus the Deepings Raft Race will take to the water again on Sunday August 7 and the theme this year is – Back to the 80’s.
This event is always such good fun for all the family and a real summer highlight including a free to enter family fun day with a funfair and a huge variety of stalls stretching from Bridge Street Deeping St James through to the Town Centre in Market Deeping.
The main attraction of course is around 40 rafts decorated to match the year’s theme racing up the river with most of the crew and many spectators in fancy dress.
It’s a great day out and raises thousands for good causes.
