The results are in from another hugely successful Deepings Raft Race!
We love a bit of quirky British fun and this annual charity event on Sunday August 4 attracted big crowds watching the action on the river, enjoying the entertainment throughout the day and the many stalls.
ESP was there to capture the action as 40 rafts took to the water on what proved to be another great family day out with the streets packed with people.
Out of those entered 34 completed the course with crews in colourful fancy dress for this year’s theme of Mardi Gras and Carnival.
Spokesman Andy Pelling told ESP – “Huge crowds attended and everything ran smoothly. There were lots of great Mardi Gras outfits. A massive thank you to all our sponsors, supporters and marshals. We will announce how much was raised for the good causes in a few weeks.”
