Peterborough Regional College will be holding an Open Day for prospective students to sample the facilities and courses on offer on Monday June 10. The college which is growing year on year, offers a wide range of apprenticeships and Higher Education courses as well as BTEC and NVQ courses.
There will also be a catwalk style final showcase for the current hairdressing and make up students running alongside the open day which anyone can go along to for free. Being held in the main hall, the show will start at 6pm and will highlight the best work of level 3 NVQ and VRQ students.
Lois Moore, hairdressing tutor at the college is coordinating the event and told ESP – “The students work really hard all year round and this final show gives them the chance to really show off their talents and what they’ve learnt over the last academic year. We are all really looking forward to the open day, where visitors can get a glimpse at what a high standard our students are capable of.”
At the Open Day potential students can take a look around the facilities at the college and chat to their industry specialist tutors, so why not drop in between 6pm and 8pm and catch the hair an beauty show while you’re there.
