CHRISTMAS EVENT @ DEMENTIA RESOURCE CENTRE

People affected by dementia and their carers are invited to come along to the recently opened Dementia Resource Centre in Peterborough for a special Christmas event.
It’ll be a chance to enjoy a bit of company, free coffee & mince pies and have a sing along to some of your favourite Christmas Carols.
The event is on Friday December 19 from 11.00am – 1.00pm. You’ll also be able to take part in a Christmas Raffle with some fantastic prizes on offer.
The Dementia Resource Centre in Millfield which opened in September is run by the Alzheimer’s Society in conjunction with Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Foundation Trust and is funded by Peterborough City Council.
It is a hub for dementia support offering advice, information and services which include activity groups, training for carers and dementia cafes.
