Time to talk Christmas food – especially as more of us will be staying at home and cooking for ourselves.
If like us you’re not the best in the kitchen you’ll no doubt need a few tips – let’s face it none of us need any extra stress at the moment!
In our mission to keep you positive this year we’ve teamed up with award-winning chef Simon Spooner from Stamford and local housebuilders Larkfleet Homes and Allison Homes to help you up your skills for the festive period whether it’s creating the best roasties, delicious gravy or making some tasty nibbles.
Simon’s sharing his skills with us in a series of short entertaining videos created with the local housebuilders, demonstrating how to whip up easy and tasty canapés through to tips for making sure your Christmas dinner is spot on.
“It’s been a tough year for smaller businesses,” says Simon, “but a lot of us have been supporting each other throughout this year. When Larkfleet contacted me about doing some Christmas tips in their kitchens it felt like a great opportunity to do that – and to share some tips and recipes that anyone can do at home to make Christmas a little more special.”
Sam Hart, Sales & Marketing Director at Allison Homes, spoke about working with Simon: “We knew this Christmas was going to be a strange one, so we wanted to help people do something a little bit different with their festive celebrations. Simon is local to us and it seemed a perfect match! He quickly created some delicious and simple recipes, which we filmed in the kitchen of one of our Allison and Larkfleet Homes. It was a lot of fun and we hope people enjoy the videos we produced!”
