Join the party and celebrate 50 years of Doctor Who at Peterborough Museum on August 3-4!
To celebrate 50 years of Doctor Who, its famous (and infamous!) characters are taking over the Museum this summer – including K-9, Ood, Clockwork Robot, Weeping Angel, new Paradigm Dalek and Davros – creator of the Daleks!
Peterborough Museum is delighted to welcome back Hyde Fundraisers*, and their spectacular Doctor Who characters, in associated with its summer exhibition Space: Fact & Fiction.
Their last visit to the Museum was hugely popular, with people lining up around the building for a chance to meet their favourite characters, so we just had to bring them back in Doctor Who’s 50th year!
Discover more about the heroes and villains of this brilliant time travel adventure – plus, learn how these characters are brought to life in demonstrations by Hyde Fundraisers.
*Hyde Fundraisers replica characters are created to raise funds for BBC Children In Need & other nominated charities.
Hyde Fundraisers is not affiliated or licensed by the BBC and no attempt is made to supercede any copyrights held by them or other organisations.
There’s no need to book for this event – just drop-in to the Museum to join in the fun!
Special event charges apply: adults £3, children £2, families £6. Under 5s and Heritage Pass holders FREE.
It’s all part of the fantastic Space: Fact an Fiction exhibition at the Museum on Priestgate which is running until October 7 supported by several special events on the theme including film screenings, talks and family days.
