Children who love to sing are being invited to Peterborough Cathedral on Saturday October 4 to find out what it is like to ‘Be a Chorister for a Day’.
This free event from 10am until 1.30pm, is open to girls and boys in school year 2 (ages 6-7) and it aims to give the children a taste of what it is like to be in Peterborough Cathedral Choir. There will be musical activities, a tour of the Cathedral and a chance to meet and sing with some of the choristers. At 12.30pm parents and others are invited join the children in with a short service in the Cathedral.
The day will be led by the Cathedral’s new Director of Music, Steven Grahl.
