Get ready to giggle, as it’s not long to go until the city’s first ever comedy festival starting on February 21!
And what better way to start such a comedy extravaganza than with a DOUBLE BILL on the opening night, featuring two of the UK’s most celebrated comedians, alongside a one-off competition where you could win a FREE bottle of beer on the night!
Opening the festival will be the terrifically talented Terry Alderton and the sharp-witted Zoe Lyons. Both comics have had careers in comedy panning well over ten years, with many prestigious awards and sell-out runs at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival year after year.
They’ll also be giving away booze for beermats on the night as part of our special competition.
In the last week, Key Comedy beermats have been popping up all over the city in Peterborough’s bars. This week however, they’re releasing 50 special beermats into the city centre. Whoever finds one is entitled to a FREE bottle of Carlsberg when they come to the opening night next Thursday, providing the perfect accompaniment to what promises to be a great night of stand-up comedy.
Follow them on Twitter at @KeyComedyPboro or like their Facebook page at /KeyComedy and keep an eye on their posts next week for clues…
Tickets are only £14 for the two acts as an opening night special. To book tickets (and for more information on other acts performing), contact the box office on 01733 207239, or visit www.vivacity-peterborough.com
