As part of National Pet Month, Brotherhood Shopping Park and ESP Magazine asked readers to nominate their pets to be named Peterborough’s prettiest. Zoological zeal, we said, would not go unrewarded – the most magnificent mammal, ravishing reptile, amazing avian or alluring aquatic would win his or her owner a pet prize package worth £500, courtesy of Elegantlee Captured Photo Studio in Peterborough!
All proud pet-owners had to do was post or email us pictures of their overly passable pooches, fetching felines – or, indeed, any other mesmerising menagerie member – and allow them to be put to the vote.
After a tough short-listing process of the many entrants, here are our top 10 prettiest pets in Peterborough…

Votes have to be in by Monday May 19 and Peterborough’s Prettiest Pet will be revealed in ESP Magazine in the next issue out from May 29.
