It’s been great to have the cinema open again but for obvious reasons, the choice of new films being released at Showcase Cinema in Peterborough is still fairly limited.
This has given us the opportunity to catch some classics being shown on the big screen to fill the gap – movies that I perhaps would not have had the chance to see in theatres had things have been… ‘normal’. One classic film I watched on the big screen at Showcase recently was Terminator 2 – and it blew me away seeing it the way films were meant to be seen.
Seeing this action-packed sequel got me thinking – ‘Could the 90s be the best decade for action movies?’ I certainly think so.
