Harry Potter and Star Wars fans are being given the chance to ask a Hogwarts Professor, or a Star Wars Ewok, their very own question.
The 2016 Burghley Film Festival is kicking off with a day of Harry Potter films on Wednesday July 27, and actor Warwick Davis is going to be there! He played Professor Flitwick in Harry Potter and Wicket the Ewok in Star Wars. There will be a Q&A session with the local star between 10.30am and 11am.
As well as taking questions from the audience on the day, Warwick will also answer some of the questions submitted by fans in advance. If you’d like to submit a question for Warwick, send it to jo.tinker@burghley.co.uk . The Q&A session will be projected live on the Big Screen, so everyone in the audience can also see and hear.
Burghley’s picturesque grounds will turn into a magical world of wizards on Wednesday July 27, for a whole day of Harry Potter. Harry Potter lovers won’t want to miss it! In the daytime showings, ‘The Philosopher’s Stone’ and ‘Prisoner of Azkaban’ will be played and in the evening, there’s a screening of ‘The Deathly Hallows’ Part 1 and Part 2.
The festival also features a range of great films, with a selection to suit the whole family. Burghley House’s beautiful setting makes the perfect backdrop for an open air film festival. Daytime showings include, 101 Dalmatians, Puss in Boots, Inside Out, Peter Pan, Snow White and the Seven Dwarves and more.
Evening showings include Notting Hill, Spectre, Mamma Mia, Mission Impossible-Rogue Nation and Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Head along with your picnic from Wednesday July 27 – Sunday July 31 and watch some of the fantastic selection of movies, outside!
