The Cresset’s clinched a real comedy corker and although it’s not until next summer you better book fast as tickets will no doubt fly out.
Next August will see the return of Russell Howard to the Bretton venue for the first time since he made an appearance at the Cresset’s long running Comedy Club way back in 2006 when he was second on the bill!
He’s returning in style with not one, but three headline shows running consecutively from Friday August 21 to Sunday August 23 at 8pm and tickets have just been released.
Penny Hansen from the Cresset told me she can’t wait for this one – “We’re delighted to welcome Russell back to The Cresset, and we’re thrilled he’s chosen to spend three nights here. We’re often told by comedians that The Cresset’s a great venue for comedy, and it’s fantastic that we’re able to bring another big comedy name to Peterborough!”
Russell’s been riding high with a critically acclaimed sold out arena leg of his Respite tour and is now back with his biggest stand up tour to date which is taking him all over the world – and Peterborough!
A regular on our TV screens, Russell’s also had huge success with his Sky One show, the Russell Howard Hour and his Netflix Special, Recalibrate. It’s good to see him back on stage with live stand up and this time he’s trying to make sense of a world that’s spinning out of control… aren’t we all!
