Giorgio the barbers based in the Westgate Arcade, has pledged to offer free moustache styling to anyone who’s been participating in Movember throughout this month.
The Movember Foundation is the leading global organisation committed to changing the face of men’s health. The Movember Foundation challenges men to grow moustaches during Movember to spark conversation and raise funds for its men’s health programs. Since its beginnings in 2003, four million moustaches have been grown worldwide, and over 800 education and awareness programmes in 21 countries have been funded. This work is saving and improving the lives of men affected by prostate cancer, testicular cancer and mental health problems.
Manager Steve Tompsett said: “Movember is a great cause, and we are really keen to help anyone who is taking part to have the best moustache they possibly can as they take their final selfie and show off their progress! As we get near the end of the month, I’m sure there will be some impressive mo’s to work with.”
