A great variety show – Salute to the 1940s – takes to the stage at the Stamford Corn Exchange on Remembrance Sunday, November 8.
The show’s been touring for 6 years and appeared in Stamford 2 years ago.
The theatre will be decked out in posters, bunting and webbing to recreate a 1940’s feel.
Lorrie Brown, who portrays Vera Lynn was voted the UK No.1 Vera Lynn tribute by the Agents Association of GB in 2013 and when Dame Vera heard about her award she wrote to Lorrie and asked if she would like to meet her at her home to congratulate her!
