Tuck in to a great night out at Vivacity’s Riverside Restaurant…
We’ve always loved the idea of dinner and a show or enjoying lunch by the river during the summer so it’s great to see the Riverside Restaurant is now open once again within the Key Theatre.
We popped down to find out more and think it has great potential with new head chef Craig Lemmon at the helm.
After a period of change and temporary closure, Vivacity’s Riverside Restaurant is back and offering pre-theatre dining to start with but with the intention of opening more often for casual evening and lunchtime meals.
Jag Singh, General Manager at Vivacity’s Key Theatre said about Riverside Restaurant – “We are currently offering a pre theatre dining experience prior to our shows, however we are excited to announce that we will enhance our offer to include lunch, afternoon tea and non-event evenings as well.”
You can expect quality, freshly prepared food at affordable prices and a quality dining experience in a cosy, intimate and relaxed atmosphere overlooking the beautiful embankment and wildlife.
The menu covers all the British classics such as fish and chips, sausage and mash, and vegetable lasagna – all with a modern touch of quality. We’re pleased to see they’re using fresh and locally sourced, seasonal products, from reputable local suppliers such as Grasmere Farm and Moorfarm to name a few.
“At Riverside restaurant, our emphasis is on provenance, freshness & flavour, using only the finest ingredients and where possible locally sourced,” says Head Chef, Craig Lemmon
So, next time you fancy a show you can make a night of it and enjoy a 2 or 3 course meal.
