POSH GIFT WRAPPING AT QUEENSGATE

It’s a wrap for Peterborough United duo this week…

On Thursday December 10 at 3pm, the Queensgate Shopping Centre gift wrapping service will welcome two very special guests as Peterborough United’s Gabriel Zakuani and Kgosi Ntlhe roll up their sleeves for charity.

The players will be wrapping presents for the people of Peterborough in order to raise vital funds for Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall Hospice and Bloodwise, Queensgate’s Charity of the Year.

Zakuani rejoined POSH as centre back in 2014 after a spell in the Greek Super League. He’s played in the top three divisions in England and once moved for £1 million to Fulham. A DR Congo international, he has played in the African Cup of Nations for his country.

South-African born defender Kgosi Ntlhe joined Posh at the age of 16, and has been a regular at left-back. He scored the club’s Goal of the Season during the 2013-2014 campaign against Bradford City at London Road.

“We’re thrilled that Gabriel and Kgosi are generously giving their time to help out with the gift wrap,” says Mark Broadhead, Centre Director at Queensgate Shopping Centre. “It is raising money for two great causes, and hopefully the added star quality will give the service a real boost.”

The service runs during centre hours from Thursday through to Sunday every week until it becomes daily from Monday December 14 until Christmas Eve.
