If you like seeing new talent, or fancy giving stand-up a go yourself, there’s a new grassroots comedy club in the city called Hoots in the Roots.
Hats Funny Comedy is a Rutland based comedy company, founded in 2022, and has brought laughter to 15 venues in four counties.
Now they’re bring us this new act new material comedy night, which is held at Here We Aren't, 18 Godric Square, Peterborough.
They launched in June, with six acts ranging from brand new comics looking for experience, and experienced comedians trying some new ideas.
Their second night takes place on Sunday September 3 with at least five more comedians, as well as their new resident MC Katie Brown from Peterborough.
As it stands, Hoots in the Roots is the only grass roots comedy night in Peterborough.
It kicks off at 7pm and tickets are £6.
