An exciting recruitment event’s being staged in Peterborough this month! So, if you’re looking for work or a change of career this could be just what you need…

The Job Show Peterborough sponsored by Norwich and Peterborough Building Society (N&P) is being held on Thursday February 21 at the Great Northern Hotel, Station Approach.

The aim of the event is to allow people who are currently working to seek improved prospects as well as helping candidates who are not in work to get back into work.

Victoria Clarke, Director of Connaught Media, the organisers of the event told ESP – “We are delighted to welcome Norwich & Peterborough Building Society on board as our headline sponsor.

“We believe that everyone has a talent in some form of capacity – The Job Show Peterborough unites that talent with a host of opportunities. With over 200 jobs so far on offer this exciting recruitment event is an excellent opportunity for employers, organizations and potential candidates from across the Peterborough region to get together all under one roof.”

Various other support organisations such as Apex Training and Nacro will also form an Education and Training Room sponsored by Think Peterborough a joint partnership between Peterborough Regional College, University Centre Peterborough and Anglia Ruskin University, providing information, advice and guidance in careers as well as educational and training opportunities for jobseekers and professionals.

Stewart Jackson, MP for Peterborough will officially launch the event; “This is tremendous news for Peterborough people who are either looking to improve their job prospects of looking for a new career. It shows Peterborough has a lot to offer for both residents of the City and companies looking to move into the City.”
