LOCAL COMPANIES ASKED TO TREAT HOMELESS YOUNGSTERS TO A NIGHT AT THE PANTO

Calling local businesses – fancy doing your good deed this Christmas and giving a homeless youngster a great night out?

Here’s your chance to sponsor a child to experience the magic of Sherwood Forest this Christmas!

What is more of a Christmas tradition than going to the Pantomime and what better Panto than a classic folk tale of a valiant hero who steals from the rich and gives to the poor? The tale of Robin Hood will be on stage at the Cresset Theatre this year.

Every child wants to have a magical time at Christmas but the sad reality is that many are in temporary accommodation or in care in Peterborough. Most don’t get the childhood experience we all look back on so fondly.

The YMCA, in partnership with The Cresset, wants to change that and they need your help to do it! Will you sponsor a child and become their Robin Hood for an evening?

They’re inviting local business leaders to gather their Merry Men to sponsor a child in need of some Christmas magic. The child you sponsor will become YMCA’s and The Cresset’s VIP guests for the evening at this year’s panto.

The package includes a family ticket (2x Adults and 2x Children) to see Robin Hood at The Cresset Theatre, with ice cream in the interval and a gift for every child to take home. How good does that sound? The ideal Christmas gift right?

It’s a fantastic opportunity for local businesses to spread Christmas joy to children in need this Christmas by showing them you care and it’s just £80.

If you’d like to get involved and give this special treat to a homeless child just call 01733 373188 or Email: fundraising@ymcatrinity.org.uk
