Like everyone else in Peterborough we’ve been desperate to get out an about again (safely) so ESP sent Mikey Clarke over to check out one of the city’s newest attractions and he gives Glo Golf a… well, glowing review!
When my editor asked if I wanted to check out Glo Golf Peterborough, I jumped at the chance for that sweet taste of normality.
My Niece and I headed down to the truly unique glow in the dark, 16-hole crazy golf course – located on Wentworth Street in the city centre.

Let me start by saying that from both an adult and child’s point of view, we both absolutely loved it and agreed an activity like this was just what the city needed.

Sure, we have golf and pitch ‘n’ putt courses scattered around but nothing like this. In fact, Glo Golf is the first of its kind in Cambridgeshire.
With the sci-fi themed glow in the dark surroundings (great for Instagram worthy selfies!), music and a bar, this felt much more of an immersive golfing experience compared to anything else on our doorstep.

My Niece felt the same. As a child classed as high risk from COVID, she naturally had her concerns going into our game. In her words, “By the second hole, all my worries were gone.” Staff have put clear effort into sticking to government guidelines so if your own concerns are stopping you from heading over, you needn’t worry in our opinion.

Trust us when we say it’s the perfect day out for families. It’s also a unique night out for adults from 8pm, when it becomes an adult-only venue, with alcohol being served from the bar, to be consumed around the course or in the bar’s seating area.
Children under the age of 4 get in free. For ages 5-17yrs it’s £6.50 and £8.50 for adults. You can read more and book your tickets on Glo Golf’s website; www.glogolf.co.uk.
