FESTIVE FILMS IN PETERBOROUGH CATHEDRAL

Okay, it may not offer trademark reclining seats, sticky floors and bountiful pick-and-mix, but it’s hard to find a better place to enjoy festive films this December.

Peterborough Cathedral is inviting families and film-lovers to join them in showings of Arthur Christmas, It’s A Wonderful Life (2.30pm and 7pm respectively) on Friday December 29 and then Polar Express and Home Alone (2.30pm and 6.30pm respectively) on Saturday December 30.

The cathedral will transform itself for two days only into a cinema with the addition of a big screen and, of course, popcorn.

Becket’s Tea Room will also be opening later on both nights and won’t close until 6.45pm.

Tickets for each movie are £6 for adults, £4 for children or £18 for a family ticket, which admits 2 adults and 2 children. To book tickets, buy them online at www.peterborough-cathedral.org.uk or call 01733 452336.
