The Embassy bar on Broadway is closed for the time being following the latest government restrictions but says it aims to open again soon.
The bar – previously known as Edwards – had an extensive refurbishment and rebranded taking the name of the theatre/cinema which the building was previously the site of for many years in the city centre.
It also houses the Flares and Red Room venues within the complex.
In a statement on their Facebook page they posted: ‘Due to the recent government announcement we have taken the decision to close our doors.
‘We would like to thank our customers for supporting us through this difficult time and look forward to welcoming you back soon’.
