COMEDY NIGHT IN BOURNE

Funhouse Comedy returns to the Angel Hotel, Bourne on Friday February 1 for more fun and laughter.

Headlining is the intensely appealing Philberto. With his effervescent attitude and ruthless approach he takes a bizarre notion and goes with it. Improvising off his audience in style he then leaves them totally enthralled and wanting for more.

Support comes from the sweet smiling Angie McEvoy, who behind her charming exterior hides the sharp wit and superb cynicism about the world she lives in. In 2005 she made history by being the first female comedienne to perform stand-up in Russia.  Since then she has travelled to numerous countries and all over the UK with her unique style.

She is also a talented writer and star of several Radio and TV shows, including appearing on the Richard and Judy show.

Completing the line-up is multi-award winning Matt Rees. Last year he was voted Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year, was a nominee for Chortle Best Newcomer and recently made it through to The BBC Radio 2 New Comedy Award 2012 Final. With his somewhat miserable persona he enthralls his audiences through his skillfully crafted stories.

Amiable ‘Geordie’ Christian Steel will be Compere for the night.

Tickets are £5 in advance,  7.30pm doors, 8.30pm start.
