SHOPS AT SERPENTINE GREEN OPEN UP

Many of the stores at Serpentine Green shopping centre have reopened today and some of the cafés and restaurants are offering a takeaway service.

The opening times vary – so it’s best to check before you head out and there’s also a one-way / keep left system in place to help support social distancing.

You can now entre the centre via the North entrance by Costa and Next, and exit via the South entrance by Boots and The Works.

If you just want to shop at Tesco you can enter and exit directly via the North entrance for this store.

To help keep everybody safe there are hand sanitising stations, signage to remind everyone to keep to the 2 metre distance from others and one-way systems to help with social distancing.

A statement from the centre said – “Our on-site colleagues have all been provided with suitable PPE such as masks and gloves to help them carry out their roles safely. We’re also continuing with our enhanced cleaning regimes, including regular cleaning of key touchpoints throughout each day.

“We will be carefully managing visitor numbers, so we can be confident that everyone can maintain social distancing.”
