SANTA HEADS TO BROTHERHOOD

On Thursday December 5, Sue Ryder Care will be bringing Santa Claus and his grotto to meet the little shoppers at Brotherhood Shopping Park in Peterborough.

Between 10am and 4pm they’ll be helping everyone get into the festive spirit whilst fundraising for their cause. Sue Ryder Care, a local Peterborough charity, will be asking for donations in return for children meeting Santa Claus himself. All contributions will go towards those who’ve been diagnosed with life-changing illnesses.Thorpe-Appeal-Logo---Arrows-with-Sue-Ryder

Brotherhood Shopping Park will be continuing the festive season in style with a series of family friendly activities to get customers into the Christmas spirit, whilst helping to raise money and awareness for local causes by involving a number of community groups and charities.

On Friday December 6, local charity Christian Aid will be getting into the Christmas spirit between 10am and 4pm by holding a Christmas themed ‘Unfair Funfair’. There’ll be classic funfair games such as Coconut Shy, Hoopla and Tin Can Alley. The main aim of the game will be to teach children some important life lessons whilst having fun at the same time.

And on Saturday December 7, local charity Froglife will be leaping into the Christmas spirit with a festive fundraising stall showcasing all sorts of amphibian and reptile Christmas gift ideas for conservation and wildlife lovers alike. There will also be a range of fun Christmas activities to keep the children entertained. All proceeds will be donated to Froglife trust.
