Get ready for some Bank Holiday tunes in the sun as the annual Thorney Live Charity Music Festival takes place on Sunday August 28.
This event traditionally follows the end of the Peterborough Beer Festival and always includes some unique attractions in the way of music, and celebrates it’s 21st year this time around.
The strong line-up includes: All Shook Up, The Off Beats, The Expletives, Austin Gold, Phoenix, Citizen Smith, Nick Corney & The Buzz Rats and Ellie Morris.
The organisers ensure that it truly is a day out for the whole family with children’s amusements, stalls, a licensed bar and hot food.
The event’s raised over £55,000 for charity during its existence and the beneficiaries this year are Alzheimer’s Society, MAGPAS and Thorney Rugby Club.
The Thorney Music Festival starts at 11.30am and runs through until dusk at the Bedford Hall in Station Road .
