NEW FOOD PUB LAUNCHING IN OAKHAM

The exciting new Mill Street Pub and Kitchen, in Oakham, is set to open on Thursday July 21.

After undergoing extensive refurbishment, the pub will have room for 180 diners to enjoy all that the new establishment has to offer.

They plan to offer a tasty menu of fresh, British produce, as well as daily specials. The selection of drinks includes local ales, fine wines, seasonal cocktails and a creative list of non-alcoholic drinks. They also aim to host a programme of exciting food, drink and community events for people in Rutland and beyond.

The operator, Epic Pubs, hope to create around 40 jobs locally and already have two other successful pubs in Northamptonshire and Berkshire. Epic Pubs’ managing director, Andrew Coath (pictured left), is well experienced in the pub and hotel industry and has received a commendation from the Queen for his work.

Andrew said, “Customers will find a pub for everyone at Mill Street, with a focus on informal dining and drinking in an exquisite environment that reflects the best in British design and offers a warm and friendly welcome. We can’t wait for people to experience our excellent food, drink and service for themselves.”

Seven boutique bedrooms will also be available at the new pub, complete with everything you may need for a special night away.
